Stephen Page
Stephen Page is the Founder and CEO of SFC Capital, the UK’s most active early-stage investor and a leader in SEIS and EIS funding. Initially trained as an accountant, Stephen made his mark as a tech entrepreneur, founding and scaling multiple software companies and achieving several successful exits.
In 2012, he founded SFC Capital after spotting a funding gap for early-stage startups and recognising the potential of the newly introduced SEIS scheme. What began as a small angel syndicate quickly evolved into a leading platform that combines direct investment with managed funds, backing over 500 portfolio companies to date.
Over the years, SFC has supported some of the UK’s standout early-stage companies — many of which first pitched at Crocodile Lair, one of London’s earliest startup pitch events. Stephen was an early investor and board member at Onfido, which went on to become one of the UK’s biggest tech exits in recent years.
A founding member of the Company of Entrepreneurs and the recipient of multiple industry awards, Stephen is widely recognised as a central figure in the UK’s startup ecosystem.
