Marcus is a co-founder and Partner at Energy Revolution Ventures ("ERV"), an energy tech VC specialising in electrochemical investments.

Marcus has been in energy technology innovation since 2016 with deep expertise in hydrogen. Marcus started his career building hydrogen powertrains at start-ups in the automotive and aerospace sectors. He has led investments in areas such as hydrogen production & purification, grid-scale energy storage, structural batteries and battery recycling. He is a director of the UK's first electrochemistry focused venture builder, Prosemino. He is a Chartered Engineer (IET) and holds an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University.
