Jon Prideaux

Over 12 years, Jon took Boku, a local payments company, from struggling startup to public company listed on AIM. Operating in more than 70 countries and a market cap approaching $750m, Boku serves the world's largest digital companies, including Amazon, Meta, Sony, Spotify, Netflix and Microsoft, with a wide array of local payment methods.

Jon was first involved with ecommerce as the founding EVP for Visa Europe's ecommerce division, Virtual Visa in the late 90s.

In that role and subsequently as EVP, Products and Marketing, Jon was involved with many new developments in the cards industry including Chip and PIN and contactless.

Jon was also Deputy CEO at SecureTrading Group, one of the UK's leading PSPs. During his tenure, they more than doubled revenues and quadrupled profits. He then led a management buy in at Shopcreator, one of the UK's leading ecommerce platforms.

Stepping back from his role at Boku, Jon began angel investing in 2023 with South East Angels.
